Inspired by a week spent being taught how to drive stick shift by my boyfriend, I created this relationship manual. The content of the manual is the result of an anonymous survey that I distributed across social media, asking participants to share personal secrets and stories about their significant other. The contradicting and varied quality of the answers plays at the irony of a single, all-encompassing relationship manual — something that does not, and never will, exist.
